POCC is an organisation of transformation, driving change for global majority communities through creativity, activism and non-traditional means. Founded in 2018 by Nana Bempah and Kevin Morosky, POCC was born from the knowledge of what strength lies in the collective; the ability to make a difference in the lives of individuals, communities, and the world at large.
Initially created as a Whatspp group to provide a safe space for creative professionals of African, Caribbean and Asian descent, today POCC is home to over a thousand creatives working across Advertising, Film, Media and the Arts – with strands in the UK, Europe and US.
In 2019, the creation of POCC STUDIOS and POCC PRODUCTIONS enabled us to produce culture-defining work with diverse perspectives at the core. POCC has since been at the forefront of award-winning work, creating alongside some of the industry’s best creative talent for brands including Disney, Nike, Netflix, Meta, the V&A, Apple, Serpentine, Prada and more. POCC JOBS has also been central to our strategy for supporting our community with finding creative roles, whilst assisting the diversification of the creative industry.
At POCC, we stand for:
POCC is home to an extensive creative network of 1200 creative professionals, spanning Art & Creative Direction, Design, Strategy, Production, Film and Motion, Client Services, PR & Communications, Project Management and more, from entry-level all the way to C-Suite.
For the past four years POCC JOBS has served as a primary way for our community of Black, brown and global majority creative talent to seek out creative and work opportunities within the broader advertising and marketing industries, and for brands and agencies to promote their opportunities to our community. Our POCC Jobs board is designed to connect businesses and brands to the industry’s best diverse creative talent, and diversify the industry by helping organisations reach a highly engaged creative audience from culturally and ethnically diverse backgrounds.
As we’ve grown, we’ve seen more members of the community reaching out to POCC for more active support in helping them find their next role, and equally a higher demand for creative talent from companies, brands and organisations.
We are looking for a Recruitment Specialist to undertake all POCC hiring activities, from advertising open roles to interviewing candidates and closing hires and support us in expanding our offering. This includes:
