Pocc has partnered with the Advertising Producers Association (APA) to offer an exclusive opportunity for two Pocc members to join this year’s Producer Masterclass 9th-13th May 2022. The Advertising Producers Association (APA) Masterclass has been setting the bar in Producer training for 20 years.
This Masterclass is an intensive one week course covering an overview of producing a live action commercial. Students will focus in on a mixture of campaigns from extremely established to newly signed talented directors and producers all producing content in the last year. They will take a deep dive into what it takes to actually deliver these commercials through a mixture of creative discussions and practical know-hows, watch-outs and general knowledge/ training to help any producer succeed in this industry.
The 5-day intensive course (standard value of £500) has been a foundation for many successful Commercial Producers, and is a thorough exploration into all elements of the Advertising Production process; from generating new business & pitching right through to the science of budgeting and scheduling. Each day runs from 9am – 6pm. On the final day, a budgeting workshop is held with over 25 top producers guiding the students in an interactive, all-day session. Students also undergo the Masterclass exam two weeks after the completion of the course in their own time, before receiving their certificates.

WHO CAN APPLY
For a chance to secure a place on this year’s APA Masterclass you must be a registered Pocc member, based in the UK and available to attend for the full duration of the course. Please check that you meet one or more of the following criteria before filling out the form.
– You are a freelance production professional.
– You work for a production company or advertising agency that does not have its own in-house production company.
– You are a Producer/Production Manager interested in honing your skills
– You are a junior ready to step up to Producer level.
– You have at least 2 years experience working in commercial, film or music video production.
