How Did You Become?…

As part of the community Pocc Talks series “How did you become…”, leaders and tastemakers were invited from across the creative industry to share their experiences and sources of inspiration for the Pocc community.

In the first of the series, we spoke to Shelina Janmohamed, author of Love in a Headscarf, about tips and tricks for how to get published, how to navigate the publishing industry, and most of all how writing a book doesn’t have to be just a dream, it can be a reality.

This was followed by a talk with Disturbing London music manager Kelly Okogwu, whose portfolio includes working with talent Tinie Tempah, Wiz Kid and Jessie J. Kelly shared tips on how to break into the music industry, and how to sustain your mental health in the fast paced world of artist management.
