Job Description

Are you passionate about sport? And do you have experience creating PR and social communications plans, with solid relationships with sports media?

Fuse is looking for an ambitious PR Account Manager to join our PR division to work across several international sports projects in our current client portfolio.

You should have strong interpersonal and project management skills, excellent attention to detail and be confident when liaising with clients & media. You will have strong relationships with key media contacts across print and digital sports press.

You will have relevant experience working in house at a sports media outlet, at a sport team press office, at a rights holder or at a PR and communications agency.

You’ll have a good understanding of one or more of the following: the sports PR and media landscape, developing multi-market communications strategies that drive brand exposure across multiple platforms, live PR activation, talent management and campaign evaluation.

The Account Manager will support an experienced team based in our London Bankside office. You need to have an ability & willingness to work flexibly, usually in the London office, with occasional UK and international travel and on site at events. You will also need to have a willingness to work across other aspects of the business. This is a full-time role & you must be eligible to work in the UK. Salary range dependent on experience. We are committed to providing comprehensive training & development plans for all team members

Skills Required

  • 3+ years relevant experience in sport communications and media
  • Proven track record in generating communications strategies that have led to positive brand exposure
  • Creative, dynamic and versatile personality with strong communication skills
  • Experience of writing materials for media, press alerts & releases
  • Experience of working with high end sporting talent, influencers and/or brand ambassadors
  • Strong client building skills
  • Strong book of media contacts with a focus on sports writers across print and digital sports media
  • Excellent attention to detail, yet ability to multi-task & work at pace
  • Experience in managing budgets and financial processes
