We are looking for an Edit Assistant to join our production studio, KODE, in Old Street, London starting ASAP. This is a junior position.

The job is a full-time position working from within our Mitchell Street office.

This is an opportunity to be part of a growing, familial production studio established both in the commercial and music industries, with plans for expansion into new fields over the next few years.

We are looking for an Edit Assistant who can work within our edit and post team, providing assistance to editors on music, content and commercial projects.  

We are looking for someone with a creative eye and good technical knowledge, who can contribute to the smooth running of a busy team. 

The successful candidate should possess the following:

• Experience of editing
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Be highly organised and resourceful with incredible attention to detail
• Have good project management skills
• Have both professional and consumer file formats, codecs and encoding knowledge.
• Experience in final deliverables creation
• Demonstrable experience in Adobe Premiere and DaVinci Resolve
• Experience of Remote workflows
• Ability to use both Windows and Mac operating systems

The Role will entail:

• Ingesting to Premiere – Camera rushes, various other file and tape sources
• Subclipping and edit prep
• Conform and sequence prep
• Monitoring and maintaining online media services (Frame, Slate, Server)
• Handling project wrap and data storage
• Managing data archiving, restoration and organisation
• Contributing to keeping the Edit Suite organised to a high standard
• Providing support to post team where necessary
