The Power of Your Heritage
South Asian culture is so much more than Diwali. Although it encompasses many customs, religions and lived experiences, Western societies often have a very one-dimensional view of it. In October 2022, we invited visual artists of South Asian descent to submit their artistic interpretations to our theme: The Power of Your Heritage. Ten artists were selected from a wide range of submissions to receive a £500 grant and have their work displayed on outdoor billboards across the month of November and December.
